I designed this cap for my vintage wizard lava lamp, it fit perfectly for where my water level was at you may need to adjust slightly to accommodate your exact lamp

3D printing settings

Used Slim tree supports at 15%
walls are so thin infill really doesn’t matter
I print these in PLA with no issue with warping on the lamp but if it makes you feel better you could use PETG
